Kate's Award

Each month at the kids' school they have an awards assembly during lunch time.  Each teacher picks two students from his/her class to receive an award.  This month the award was for Responsibility.  

I got an email from Kate's teacher the other day telling me that Kate would be getting an award today, but to keep it a secret.  I eat lunch with the kids at school every week or two, so I told them that I'd be eating with them today since it's Friday.  

When they called Kate's name for her award, she was so surprised!  She had no idea that she was getting onee.  

 "I can't believe it..."

 The kids got a bracelet and certificate.
