Pajama Day 2013

Kate and Jack dressed up (or rather...didn't get dressed) for Pajama Day at school this week.   Jack said after school that he was the only kid out of his class of 23 students that remembered to dress up.

Nick Loves Baths!

Nick loves his baths!  I haven't taken any pictures of him in the bathtub.  I guess that's what happens to the fourth child in a family, right?  He was splashing and being especially cute the other night, so I snapped some pictures of him.

 He likes to scoot backwards to the back of the tub.

 He loves to suck on his washcloth (before I wash him with it, so it's pretty clean).

 There's always some splashing.

 Baths are fun!

Ty's Soccer Fall Season

Ty got to be on his own soccer team this fall.  His friend, Ian, was on his team, Gold Rush, too. 

Ty was pretty into most of the games.  He scored lots of goals.  Sometimes the other coaches made the playing field really small and played lots of kids at once, which made it harder for Ty to play.  Ty got a big bump on his eye from his fellow player's head, another kid grabbed him by the neck, but he kept on playing. 

 

 

The YMCA had a problem with the jerseys.  They ordered one late and it didn't come, so Ty got a white jersey.  He also got to wear a green jersey for his last game. 



  Nick liked the games too, probably because I fed him dinner during them. 

Nine Month Nick!

It's hard to believe that Nick is already 9 months old.  I'm getting so far behind on this blog.  Hopefully I'll catch up.

Here's what Nick's been up to at 9 months:

• Weighs 18 lbs 2.5 oz, 29 1/2" long
• Sits up all the time
• Scoots backwards on his bum
• Scoots backwards on his tummy
• Leans forward from sitting to tummy (sometimes without bumping his head on the floor)
• Loves his blanket with pats and snuggles
• Loves his binkie
• Loves all kinds of food.  Just started grunting loudly and clenching his fists when he wants more.  
• Sleeps through the night most of the time.  Sometimes wakes up once.  
• Lets most non-family members hold him for about 30 seconds before he starts crying.
• Loves his baths
• Had his first haircut last week

Nick eats cheerios every morning while he waits for his "real" breakfast.  He helps me eat my oatmeal after lunches are made and the other kids have eaten breakfast. (9/18/13)
