Here's what Nick's been up to at 9 months:
- Weighs 18 lbs 2.5 oz, 29 1/2" long
- Sits up all the time
- Scoots backwards on his bum
- Scoots backwards on his tummy
- Leans forward from sitting to tummy (sometimes without bumping his head on the floor)
- Loves his blanket with pats and snuggles
- Loves his binkie
- Loves all kinds of food. Just started grunting loudly and clenching his fists when he wants more.
- Sleeps through the night most of the time. Sometimes wakes up once.
- Lets most non-family members hold him for about 30 seconds before he starts crying.
- Loves his baths
- Had his first haircut last week

Nick eats cheerios every morning while he waits for his "real" breakfast. He helps me eat my oatmeal after lunches are made and the other kids have eaten breakfast. (9/18/13)
