General Conference 2014

We asked our stake presidency for conference tickets.  We got some for the Saturday afternoon session.

Jack got to come too, even though he won't be 8 for another few weeks.

We left Nick and Ty at Norm and Melinda's house.  Luckily,  Nick didn't cry the whole time and even took a few naps.  He didn't like making eye contact with Melinda or Grandma Judi.

Kate and Jack were very well behaved and sat reverently during the meeting.  They took some notes.

Jack took notes about Elder Nelson's talk.  He talked about faith and shared a story about a plane ride he was on that was experiencing turbulence.  There was a lady on board that was hysterical and scared.  Her husband told Elder Nelson after they landes that the only way he could calm his wife was by telling her that it would be OK because Elder Nelson was on board.

After the session, we headed back to Draper while Dave waited for Norm and Vaughn to meet him for priesthood.  They had tickets to the priesthood session too.

The ladies took all the kids to IHOP for dinner.
