She's 6!

Kate is six now!  Where have the last six years gone?  Kate is a very sweet girl and a joy to have in our family.  Click here to see how much she's changed from her birthday last year.

Here are some things that she likes to do:

• do perler beads
• hula hoop
• ride her scooter and bike
• dance and try to go on pointe
• read (her reading has taken off since January)
• watch Ty for me
• play the piano
• play with her friends
• playing "Mom and Kid" w/her friends and "Mom and Dad" w/Jack
• gymnastics

Dislikes:

• getting up in the morning before school
• eating chicken (mostly just in soups)

The birthday festivities started early since Kate's birthday was on Friday so she had to go to school

Kate is an amazing hula hooper!

Kate also got $ from Grandma & Grandpa Judi, a new shirt and skirt that she wore to school, and her scooter that she got to open early.

Kate took little chocolate donuts to share with her class at school.  Dave and Jack took her a special lunch (corndog) and ate lunch with her at school.

After school Kate, Jack and I did some serious perler bead making.  Then we took a trip to Espanola and ate dinner at Burger King (Kate's choice).  She wanted to eat there because they have a play place, but unfortunately they couldn't plan on it since a car ran through the playplace the other day and it was out of commission.

We came home and had Hello Kitty birthday cake.

Jack thought it was yummy!
