October 2nd was a holiday in Los Alamos this year. And the holiday was . . . Homecoming at the High School! The kids got out of school at 1:00 and later that afternoon they have a parade. I took my kids and my friend's kids to the parade (yep, that's 8 kids -- 8 very well behaved kids too!).
Waiting for the action to start
Almost every kid-involved organization in Los Alamos was in the parade. They showered the kids with candy. I don't think we'll have to buy much Halloween candy to give out to the trick-or-treaters this year. Is that bad to "regift" candy?
