Jack's 1st Bus Ride and Kate's Music "Informance"

Today was the day Jack's been waiting for ever since he started preschool -- he finally got to ride the bus to school! The bus picks up the preschool students that have some kind of therapy -- speech, occupational, physical, etc. but it doesn't pick up the peers that are in the class. After waiting for a month the school finalized some paperwork and approved it for Jack to be picked up and dropped off at another student's house down the street. He was so excited! Now he goes to school at 8:15 and gets home around 11:40. It's great for me because I don't have to spend 1/2 hour dropping him off and 1/2 hour picking him up every day. Anyway...

Jack and Ty waiting for the bus. Jack kind of looks like he's taking Ty's temperature, which he might need to do since Ty has a cough (since Jack cannot keep his hands or lips off of Ty).

Getting off the bus after school -- I couldn't get a good picture since he got off the bus so fast. He loved it though. We went to a friend's house later today and Jack showed me exactly where the bus went this morning.

Kate's music class had an "informance" today. Instead of a music performance, Mrs. Rasmussen (the music teacher, who is in our ward) invites all the parents to come to music class with the kids. It was really fun to see Kate being so obedient and quiet. I tried to get her to sit in a different spot in the circle where there was more room and she would not (guess it's against the rules).
Kate and her friend, Nina, and her "boyfriend" Matthew

They sang "Five Little Pumpkins" and "I'm a Little Teapot". Then everyone got to help do the noises from the book "The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything." Jack loved getting to participate too. School is so great!

Haha! Shannon was telling me yesterday about her "sort of boyfriend" that she sits by on the bus. That looked like a fun "informance!"
