Kate's Fun'd Run

Last Wednesday Kate's school had a fun'd run for a fundraiser at the high school track. Jack and I got to go run around the track with her. It was "fun."

Kate ran ("raced") around the track for a lap. Then Jack and I got to run with her. I've never seen her run so fast before. Jack started crying because the race started without him. He really wanted to run in the "race". The kids got to run and walk around and around the track for 40 minutes or so. Jack, Ty, and I went around with Kate after her first lap.

Kate running with the "pink pajama man" (her principal who said he'd wear his pajamas if they earned a certain amount of money). The kids thought he was hysterical.

They gave the kids bottles of water -- who knew water could be so much fun!
