We went to the U and had lunch with Dave. Kate insisted on bringing her babies in their stroller. We were quite the parade walking through campus. We went to McDonald's for dinner. Kate's choice!
Kate helped me decorate her princess cake. I'm not a very patient cake decorator and I thought I'd save money by buying disposable cake decorating tips and just using a ziploc bag with it. That didn't work so well! Frosting was everywhere. Kate kept saying that the cake looked beautiful. It was pretty enough for her.
Blowing out candles.
Grandma Judi made Kate a birthday cake over the weekend. The kids found it.

Enjoying cake and/or peach pie (my favorite). Jack isn't eating cake. He just took a big bite of Kate's candle.

What fun presents! I know what you mean about cutting back. Callie is not going to be getting a lot for her birthday! We are still overloaded from Christmas!
Happy Birthday Kate!
Sadie loved you pink princess cake:) Hope you had a wonderful day- you are a special little girl and can't wait to see you again!
What a fun day. Kate is lucky to have great parents like you and Dave and vice versa! She's a great kid.
Avery loved looking at all the pictures, she kept making me click on them over and over! Thank goodness for blogging, now they can actually get to know each other!
It is hard not to indulge our little kids. We always wish we could give them everything their hearts desire!
That looks like so much fun! Shannon loved looking at the pictures and thought the princess cake was to die for. She kept wanting me to "make the pictures big" so she could get a good look at her friend Kate!
The cake turned out awesome! You are such a cute mom!!
What a great birthday. The presents, the cake, and the party look like tons of fun.
I love that Jack looks like he's texting someone on your phone in the background of one of the pictures. Too cute.
How does it feel to have a four year old? AHHHHHHHH!
